Easy Care

Easy Care

Our bag is made from natural canvas cotton, making it easy to care for. It's fully machine washable and simple to refresh—always looking great! Just follow these easy steps:

Step 1: Lay the bag flat inside a mesh laundry bag – No folding! This helps maintain its shape.

Step 2: Tuck the handles and strap inside the bag – Prevents unnecessary strain on the stitching.

Step 3: Wash separately – Keeps it clean and prevents color transfer from other clothes.

Step 4: Use a gentle cycle with cold water – Helps preserve the fabric’s durability.

Step 5: Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and harsh chemicals – Keeps the fibers strong and long-lasting.

Step 6: Use a mild detergent – Gentle on the fabric while maintaining freshness.

Natural canvas cotton may shrink 5-7% after washing, but a quick reshape and stretch will have it looking good as new!  Keep Your Bag Looking Its Best:

Step 1: Reshape While Damp

After washing, stand the bag upright, just like a paper bag that can hold its shape. Then, use fingertips to adjust the outer corners and gently shape all four inner sides to give it that classic paper bag look. Finally, lightly hold and adjust the side seams to help the bag settle into its paper bag shape!

Step 2: Gentle Stretching

After washing, take a few extra moments to gently stretch the fabric. It’s a simple step that makes a big difference. For width, grasp both sides of the seams with multiple fingertips and gently stretch outward, holding for a few seconds before releasing. For length, grasp the top seam and bottom edge and gently stretch upward and downward, holding for a few seconds before releasing. When adjusting the straps, use fingertips to stretch upward and downward along the entire length. A little light fingertip stretching—without full-hand pulling—keeps my bag looking fresh and ready to go!

Step 3: Hang to Dry Indoors

Instead of laying it flat or using a dryer, hang it indoors and add a little weight—like a 2 lbs dumbbell—to help it keep its natural form. Gravity does the rest!

Follow these easy-care tips, and your bag will be fresh and ready to use again and functional for years to come.  A little care goes a long way!
